Installing FireFox 4 in Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick)

If you have downloaded and installed ubuntu 10.10 , you would have noticed that it has FireFox 3.6
Here's how to upgrade.

This guide has been simplified for fist time users!

1.Using Update Manager.(Those who have a fast internet conection)

Goto System(Above not below) >> Administration >> Update Manager.

Hit the Check Button and the Install Button, it will update all your old packages including FireFox.


2.By manually installing it(Quick and Fast)

Download it here.(Choose your laguage and Download the linux version version of it)

You will get a tar.bzip2 file after downloading , right lick and click Extract Here.

It will extract it to a folder called Firefox.

Close FireFox 3.6 and run firefox(.sh) file.

There ! done you have Firefox 4 .
